staircase flooring FAQs
What are the common materials for wood flooring?
Common wood flooring materials include solid wood flooring, solid wood laminate flooring, laminate flooring, Vinyl flooring and outdoor WPC flooring.
What are the benefits of wood flooring?
Wood flooring has several advantages:
- Natural beauty: Wood flooring has a unique grain and texture that adds natural beauty to the interior.
- Durability: A good wood floor can be durable and withstand daily wear and use.
- Maintainability: Wooden flooring is relatively easy to clean and maintain, requiring only regular cleaning and maintenance.
- Environmentally friendly: Good quality wood flooring is usually made from sustainable materials and is friendly to the environment.
- Comfort: Wooden flooring is more comfortable than other materials.
How do I choose the right flooring for me?
The choice of material depends on individual needs and budget. Solid wood flooring has the texture and scent of natural wood, but is more expensive and requires more maintenance. Laminate flooring is relatively inexpensive, easy to install and maintain, while still having a certain woodiness. Therefore, if you are looking for natural texture and uniqueness, you can choose solid wood flooring; if you have a limited budget or need easier installation and maintenance, you can choose laminate flooring or Vinyl flooring.
How do I care for my wood floors?
The key to caring for your wood floors is regular cleaning and preventing scratches. Here are some suggestions:
- Sweep regularly: Use a soft-bristled brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris to avoid prolonged buildup.
- Wet mopping: Use a damp mop to gently wipe down wooden floors, avoiding the use of excess water or strong detergents.
- Prevent scratches: Install soft cushions under the feet of furniture and avoid dragging heavy objects directly on the floor.
- Avoid direct sunlight: prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause discoloration of wooden floors, use curtains or blackout curtains to avoid direct sunlight.
- Regular maintenance: According to the material and use of wooden floor, regularly use professional wooden floor maintenance products for maintenance and care.
How can you guarantee to avoid damages during the delivery?
All the packages for stairs are packed with standard exporting plywood boxes and cartons. Completely stronger enough to deliver in containers.
Is laminate flooring waterproof? Can it be installed in the kitchen and bathroom?
Laminate flooring is not truly waterproof. Its core material is pressed wood fiber, which can absorb water and swell if it gets wet. Therefore, if you’re worried about what will happen if laminate flooring gets soaked, the answer is: it may bulge, crack, or warp.
Although modern products have upgraded their click-lock sealing process, improving the moisture resistance of laminate flooring, it primarily provides moisture protection, not long-term waterproofing.
When considering suitable areas for laminate flooring, it’s recommended to install it in dry spaces such as bedrooms, living rooms, and studies; it’s generally not recommended for high-humidity areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and balconies.
In short: Laminate flooring has good moisture resistance, but it’s not completely waterproof, and prolonged water accumulation should be avoided.

What do I need to pay attention to when installing wood flooring?
Wood flooring installation needs to pay attention to the following points:
- Substrate preparation: Ensure that the ground is level, dry and clean to ensure the quality of wood flooring installation.
- Temperature and humidity: Check the temperature and humidity of the room before installation to ensure that it meets the installation requirements of wood flooring.
- Use of appropriate tools: Use appropriate tools and installation methods for the installation of wood flooring to ensure the quality of installation.
- Leave a gap: During installation, leave a gap between the edge of the floor and the fixtures to allow for expansion and contraction of the floor.
- Professional installation: If you do not have installation experience or skills, it is recommended to hire a professional wood flooring installer to ensure safety and quality.
